Unstable Portals are gateways between worlds that connect Cerulea to other planets. The Builders are theorised to be responsible for the presence of these anomalies. Terrans are often taken from Earth to Cerulea via these portals, and stranded in the Blue. These portals form and collapse unpredictably, and therefore cannot be used reliably for travel or commerce.
